Timea's Thrift Boutique is operated by Timea's Cause Inc., a social enterprise created by Timea E Nagy, a Canadian advocate, best-selling author, and survivor of human trafficking.

Who is Timea?

Timea E. Nagy is a best-selling author, former U.N. Commissioner, survivor advocate, producer, and Canadian entrepreneur.

Timea founded Timea's Cause in 2014 when her charity (Walk With Me Canada Victim Services) had to close its doors after 7 years due to a lack of ongoing funding. Timea studied social enterprise and self-sustaining business models and was determined to find ways to continue raising awareness, educating, and supporting victims of human trafficking.

Timea's Thrift Boutique and its proceeds will be supporting three organizations:

1. Timea's Cause Inc. - Human Trafficking Education and Awareness

2. Muskoka Victim Services - Supporting individuals impacted by traumatic events and victims of human trafficking

3. Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions (Steps for Safety)—supporting vulnerable and exploited individuals impacted by Sex Trafficking and Online Sexual Exploitation
